Her conception took place on the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell located in the state of New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her first name. Gerina Stevenson's parents are Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She is of Mexican-American heritage and is an American by citizenship. Her desire to play sports began as a small kid. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she was 15 years old. Gerina completed her high school education at Goddard High School. In high school she was the winner of the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She was also a volleyball player who competed at the state level. The year 2003 was the time she began her studies at the University of Texas. In her final year, she won every tournament she competed in. In her undergraduate career, she won her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year award and the UTEP Female athlete of the Year.
